To celebrate the Cake or Death Site's 10 Year Anniversary of bringing you the
latest Eddie Izzard news and fanlicious photos, I wanted to give a little something
back.
David Quantick, the co-author of Dress to Kill created an online sitcom called
"The Junkies".
Eddie lent his voice (technically he lent his "ciao") to the end
of the CD from world music band (and Eddie fans) TEA.
Check out some of the music clips HERE.

Cake or Death was listed as the number one site for the TOP TEN STAND UP COMEDIAN

WHAT'S WEIRDING
OUT EDDIE?
A strange bit of 'citizen paparazzi' video - someone took a short vid of Eddie
transfixed by an electronic sign while walking through London (thanks Annette!):
Comedian Eddie Izzard introduced a film of the Hope not Hate bus's 1,000mile,
15-day nationwide tour. He said: "Just 65 years ago, our grandfathers and grandmothers
fought a world war against fascism. Well, this is our generation's fight against
fascists. Tell everyone you know to vote against the racists in the European elections
on June 4." Izzard also invoked the spirit of Stoke City football legend Sir Stanley
Matthews - a man renowned for his leadership and modesty. "I know Sir Stanley
Matthews wouldn't want the people of Stoke voting for the BNP," he told the crowd
to cheers of support.
another review...
Between acts, compere Eddie Izzard took to the stage to deliver the anti-racism
message of the festival. And the comedian told the sun-drenched crowd to "mobilise"
themselves against the BNP at the polls on Thursday. He said: "We know there is
a BNP element in this city and we have to fight it. On Thursday there is a danger
the BNP is going to get seats on the European Parliament. "You have to start mobilising
yourselves, your friends and anyone you have ever met to go and vote on Thursday
so this doesn't happen. "You will be sending a message out to the world that you
love hope, and that they breed hate. "Sixty-five years ago our grandfathers fought
against fascism in World War Two. We have another battle on our hands on Thursday
to make sure there is no victory for fascists this time either. "You can do it.
It's up to you to battle fascism."
